Our Infrastructure

Local, Independent, Secure. Designed To Last.
At 10RUPTiV, we made a clear and deliberate decision from the beginning: to build, operate, and maintain our own infrastructure from the ground up. It’s more than just a technical preference; it’s a company philosophy.
While many market players are turning to public cloud solutions or shared hosting abroad, we have taken a completely different approach. Why? Because we believe that offering a true service requires complete control of the environment. Because digital sovereignty is not a luxury, but rather a necessity. And because we can’t adequately protect what we don’t control.
Three 100% Quebec-Based Data Centres
Our infrastructure consists of three distinct physical hosting sites; all located in Quebec:
- Two on the North Shore of Montreal, each in a different city to reduce risks related to geographical proximity.
- A third in Estrie, ensuring a strategic physical separation.
These locations are strictly reserved for our operations: no rented machines, no colocation, or shared services. Each server, each firewall, each cable belongs to us. This means that your data never leaves Quebec at any time. And that’s not a detail: it’s a promise of transparency, compliance, and respect for privacy.
Our NOC: The Brain of the Operation
Our main office serves as a NOC (Network Operations Centre). It’s our digital command centre, providing continuous supervision over all our environments. Connected to the three sites via a private VPN, it allows us to monitor, diagnose, intervene, and automate critical tasks 24/7.
We don’t wait for customers calls. Thanks to our advanced monitoring system — Sukyan, developed in-house — we are often the first to know when a service slows down or exhibits abnormal behaviour. Sukyan never sleeps. And behind him, a human team keeps a close watch.
Integrated Security, Not Just Added
Each site is equipped with professional firewalls with a uniform and rigorous configuration. We’ve also implemented a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) system that centralizes logs, detect anomalies, and correlates security events so that we can respond before a problem becomes critical.
In front of our Web services, we have integrated a WAF (Web Application Firewall) into our load balancing infrastructure. This WAF plays a key role: it filters HTTP/HTTPS requests, automatically block exploitation attempts (XSS, SQLi, code injections, automated scans, etc.), and protects applications against common attack vectors. All of this is transparent to the end users, but extremely effective against threats.
In addition to the software layer, each site is equipped with a redundant power system: uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and generators ensure service continuity even in the event of prolonged outages.
The Equipment Is Solid
Our servers are mostly Dell, configured to handle high loads and redundancy. We use a combination of high-performance SSD storage for critical operations and HDD discs for archiving, backup, and less frequently accessed data. This combination provides a balance of performance, durability, and capacity.
Each piece of equipment is selected, configured, and maintained by us. There are no shortcuts, no compromises. Because stability begins at the physical level, and because in our profession, trust is measured in milliseconds of unavailability.
An Interconnected, Intelligent, and Resilient Architecture
Our sites are not isolated: they are linked together via site-to-site VPN in a mesh configuration. This means that each site is connected to the other two without having to go through a central hub. Even our NOC is directly linked to each of the centres, allowing for distributed management and monitoring without a single point of failure.
Some strategic services, such as antispam, DNS, or certain application modules, are replicated across multiple sites simultaneously to ensure service continuity even in the event of a local incident.
This interconnection also offers the possibility of cross-backup, database replication, or service relocation if a site were to be temporarily isolated.
In short: our architecture is designed to keep functioning even in the face of unforeseen events.
No cPanel, No Plesk, and That’s Fine
At 10RUPTiV, we do not believe in “self-service” hosting.
We do not offer cPanel, Plesk, or any of the generic interfaces that provide a false sense of control while posing a real risk of vulnerability.
Why? Because most hosting vulnerabilities come from human errors in its interfaces, neglected updates, or modules that are activated by default. The tools are designed for the masses, not for security.
Everything is managed here. Really managed.
Each site, each email account, each database is installed, secured, and optimized by a member of our team. You don’t need to click in a console; you have a team of experts taking care of it for you.
You are not renting a space; you are benefiting from a service.
A Different, Committed Approach
Our vision is not for everyone. And that’s perfect.
We are not a cheap hosting provider.
We don’t do “unlimited offers at $3.99/month.”
We offer real services, on real infrastructure, with real people.
Our clients come to us because they want a reliable, local, and competent partner. Because they want to know where their data is stored, who manages it, and how it is protected.
And they stay with us for one simple reason: it works.
What It Changes for You
- Your data remains in Quebec, governed by Quebec and Canadian laws.
