Role Description
The IT Technician provides first- and second-level technical support to users, addressing software, hardware, network, and operational issues.
The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and configuration of various IT equipment, while ensuring thorough follow-up of incidents through to resolution or escalation when necessary.
The technician will participate in internal and client IT projects, use remote support tools, and monitor infrastructure using internal monitoring systems in order to intervene proactively.
The role also includes maintaining up-to-date technical documentation, service tickets, and client inventory records, as well as applying cybersecurity best practices in all interventions. The IT Technician will also contribute to continuous process improvement and task automation whenever possible.
Candidate Profile
- DEP in Computer Support
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- Knowledge of Linux / Debian and virtualization (Proxmox or equivalent — strong asset)
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong sense of confidentiality and cybersecurity awareness
- Comfortable documenting work effectively in a structured environment
